Sing Out 2014

It's not often as a supply teacher you get to be involved in something as amazing as Sing Out so thankyou Mr Hensler for taking your holiday this term! Wednesday 11 June 2014 was a very special day for our senior choir students as they participated in Sing Out. This event only runs every two years in this region for primary school choirs and there is no other event like it for high schools. What a wonderful experience for all involved, from mass choir workshops with special guest conductor Mrs Julie Christiansen, to performing in the evening with 500 other students on the stage of the majestic Empire Theatre. I am very proud of all that our students achieved. They sounded angelic when singing their solo song "Rhythm of the Rain" and special congratulations to Isabel Lanigan who was chosen to perform a soulful solo in "Yonder Come Day". Thanks to our dedicated accompanist, Melinda Burke.
