Pink Stumps Day

Pink Stumps Day was a huge success with $893.25 raised to support Cancer Council's Breast Cancer fundraiser.  Thank you to students, parents and staff for your tremendous support of this very worthy cause.

It was a beautiful day on the oval with everyone participating by dressing in pink, joining together for morning tea and being entertained by "starry" cricketers (dressed in an array of pink costumes - loved the tutus!). Success of this event was not only counted in monetary terms but in the heightened awareness it brought to our community.

In particular, the Year 6 students, Mrs Cooper and Mrs Elliott must be congratulated on their hard work in promoting Pink Stumps Day by creating a very PINK display for the office foyer noticeboard, selling raffle tickets and the general organisation of the event.

Congratulations goes to Sam Coleborn who was the winner of the raffle prize, a pink cricket set, Well done Sam!
