Pink Stumps Day

Last Friday, 27th May, Highfields State School staff, students and families wore PINK and enjoyed a cosy morning tea together in the Hall. We watched an entertaining game of French cricket on the stage and some classic catches by world famous cricketers and a short film showing the Pink Panther on the big screens. Something for everyone!

Over $960 was raised for the Glenn McGrath Foundation so that they can continue supporting Australian families affected by breast cancer. The first prize winner of the raffle was Nikita Wright from 6B. Many runner up prizes of pink hats and wristbands were also given away. For three years now, HSS has shown immense support for ongoing cancer research. Together, we have made a difference!
