Bullying, No Way!

On Friday March 20, Highfields State School participated in the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence.

All students were invited to wear orange on Friday and a special assembly was held to promote the message further.
The school captains were busily working on ways to get this message out to all staff and students of Highfields school and community.
The following activities were organised:
  • Student leaders visited classes to advertise the day and create understanding around bullying
  • All students decorated a small hand with anti-bullying messages
  • Foyer displays
  • Signage around the school
  • Wrist bands were issued to all staff and students
  • Decoration of the smART Space
  • Photo story for assembly
  • 2015 Mascot - Tilly the Tiger
  • Whole school in orange to promote the important message that Highfields State School says 'No' to Bullying!
